Since 1978, First Step's vision has been peaceful families and safe communities within Wayne County, Michigan. First Step is a non-profit agency providing comprehensive services for families impacted by domestic and sexual violence. One fifth of people experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Let's pull together and contribute to this great organization in their mission to support families in crisis and promote safety, advocacy, and social justice.

First Step distributes donations for individuals and families. From April 13th-25th we invite you to donate the following items for this welcoming space. We will have a collection box in our lobby for drop off. 

• Shampoo & Conditioner
• Body Wash
• Hand & Body Lotion
• Deodorant
• Hand Sanitizer
• Textured Hair Care Products (satin bonnets, hair grease, hair lotion, curl definer, rubber bands) 
• Wide Tooth Combs
• Hairbrushes
• Dental Floss
• Baby Care items (baby wipes, baby ointment) 
• Shaving Razors
• Paper products (kleenex, toilet paper, paper towel)
