Maybe you've always wanted to delve into genealogy but you aren't sure how. Or you're a seasoned genealogist and would like to meet others with your interest. No matter what your skill level, if you're interested in genealogy, we have an event just for you!

Join us Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM for a day of genealogy, fun, giveaways and prizes. Light refreshments will be served and registration is required. This event features:

• Genealogist Katherine Willson will present, "Exploring the Features of FamilySearch.org"; 
• Genealogist Megan Heyl will present, "Timelines – Putting Your Life on the Line";
• Archivist and genealogist Jessica Trotter will present, "Researching African American Ancestors";
• Thomas Kolselka, President of the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research, will present, "Who You Gonna Call? Wiki's In Family History";
• Interested in joining a genealogy society? Representatives from several societies including the Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan, Western Wayne County Genealogical Society, Polish Genealogical Society of Michigan and the Michigan Genealogical Council will be available to answer your questions.
