Events › Preschool Storytime (ages 3 1/2-5 independent of caretaker)

Preschool storytimes feature longer books, flannel board and rhymes designed for children ages 3 1/2 - 5.  These activities help develop pre-reading and school-readiness skills. 

Children need to be 3 1/2 to begin this program and must be able to sit independently and be attentive for 30 minutes.

*Monday sessions participant's birthdate must be on or before May 3, 2022,

*Friday sessions participant's birthdate must be on or before May 7, 2022.

Please pick a Monday OR a Friday session.

• Registration is required for Preschool Storytime. Please register with your child's name. This would be a great time get your child a library card AND register using their card! This will make the registration process smoother now and for all future programs they may be attending. 
• Siblings within this age range should be registered separately. 
• Registration is for the entire 6-week session.
• To minimize disruptions, patrons who arrive more than five minutes late will not be able to enter the program.

Please send your child's name and birthdate to durbins@cantonpl.org (if they do not have a library card).

There will be no storytime on the day after Thanksgiving, Friday November 28 as the library will be closed. 

Due to high demand in attendance, we generate a waitlist for this program. If you are registered and find you cannot attend, please remove your name from the list to open up spots for waitlist patrons.
