The Academy Awards doesn't have a whole lot of appeal to horror movie fans. That's because the genre tends to be woefully underrepresented, and even when the Oscars pay attention to horror, it's rare that a fright film takes home any sort of honors.
Horror fans look forward to a different awards show—one where the best in the genre will get the spotlight they deserve and ultimately the fans decide the winners. I'm talking about Fangoria Magazine's Chainsaw Awards. The winners were announced on May 15, and now you can create your own "Best Horror of 2021" film fest with these titles from the library's collection.
