How Does a Meteor Shower Sound?

The Perseids are a yearly meteor shower visible during the dead of summer, typically July 17-August 24. We in the northern hemisphere have the privilege of seeing this solar activity the clearest. When the Perseids hit peak activity in early-to-mid August, eagle-eyed watchers can see up to 60 meteors crossing the sky every hour. As there is so much music inspired by our universal interest in the universe, we have put together some musical highlights that might enhance your stellar stargazing experience.
