Listen, Sweet, how bees are humming. Beating wings are drumming, drumming, "April's here and May is coming." Listen by Unknown April is National Poetry Month. Reading poetry and novel in verse is important, but hearing someone recite the words enriches the experience. We can hear the emotion in a speaker's voice and feel the rhythm of the phrases. The spoken word awakens our senses beyond the silence.
